Tomorrow's Language
Tomorrow’s Language (2020) was a collaboration between Louwrien Wijers, ARTisBOOK Foundation and the residents of Groningen. An event that re-thought the ways of showing, perceiving, and experiencing art in times of a world pandemic. During one month, 31 different homes along the city displayed a total of 34 posters made by Dutch artist and writer Louwrien Wijers. Five routes were created and 5 local artists developed a special tour to take visitors each weekend along them. The by then-new location of ARTisBOOK served as an information center, for people to get to know the background of the project and watch the documentation of the symposium. Two public moments were organized for people to meet Louwrien.
